On Tuesday, 29th September we held our annual Bookweek Parade. This year the theme was "Book Safari". To begin the day we had a visit from Emma with her collection of animals. We saw a possum, two bearded dragons and a python. Children from NWPS and from the preschool, as well as staff, dressed up as a variety of animals, hunters and safari guides.
Following morning tea the children completed a range of activities and then came together after lunch to share their results. We heard some very interesting expositions entitled "Do cats or dogs make the best pets?" and saw some beautiful lion masks.
A great day was had by all!
