Our extra-curricular highlights
Debating and public speaking
Students can develop their thinking, communication and teamwork skills through debating and public speaking. They also have the chance to compete in local and state events.
Creative and performing arts
Our Creative Arts program is led by a qualified dance teacher with experience running her own studio. Every student participates in weekly lessons through our RFF program, building towards a whole-school concert each year.
Students also have the chance to perform in Star Struck, with multiple teams representing our school annually. Our teacher’s expertise has even seen her selected as Head Choreographer for Star Struck in recent years, highlighting the high-quality opportunities offered to our students.
High Potential and Gifted Education (HPGE)
Our school offers a wide range of enrichment and extension opportunities to support High Potential and Gifted Education (HPGE) students. A key feature is our Think Tank program, where students present their work to our Assistant Principal Curriculum and Instruction (APCI) for individualised feedback, followed by explicit teaching and tailored extension activities.
Classroom teachers are also highly trained in identifying and extending HPGE students, ensuring challenge and engagement are built into everyday learning. This whole-school approach provides students with the support, guidance, and opportunities they need to excel.
